I´m sorry to add some confusion but according to my information this ( very nice ) plane was build 1994 in Romania with an american engine. So the designations vary strongly from Yak-3 Uti to Yak-11. One difference to a orignal Yak-11 is the retractable tailwheel. The engine should be a P&W R-1830.

Very nice video! Beautiful Yak! But it's not Yak-3, sorry. It's after Wwii training version Yak-11. Training fighter Yak-11 had the radial engine Ash-21 of 700 Hp power (Wright Cyclone type). But war fighter Yak-3 had the V-12 engine Vk-105Pf of 1240 Hp power (Hispano-Suiza type).
