Being at Red Flag has nothing to do with having a good plane or not, it's about getting combat experience... And I wouldnt put my money on an F-5 against a Mirage 2000. The plane is obsolete, even with an update. But then again, a plane is only as good as the pilot flying it...

We'll see how good they are...

Last exercise with the F-5EM, 2 Tigers shot down 3 Mirages 2000 of the Armée de l'Air and the convoy with their AWACS was forced to move out. No Tigers has been shot in the exercise. Any other question? The F-5BR is in Red Flag cause is a good aircraft, they will support the alliance in the air superiority with the Eagle, so it's not a bad fighter.

probably, but remember the US uses F-5s for air combat training and they sometimes win.

i think those F-5's have no chance there...F-15's and Vipers are gonna eat them:)
