"Argentine Air Force and Naval Aviation in the Malvinas War", o "Argentine Pilots in the Malvinas War" sería un título más justo para todos los pilotos de ambas fuerzas armadas que pelearon y murieron JUNTOS en Malvinas.

The main point here guys is this.............................................................Your aircraft/hardware is only as good or better than that which you are up against and unfortunatly the argentinian airforce were somewhat restricted in their ability to attack.defend due to refeuling and limited time in the air.................Something the Germans found to their peril in the 40's.

But I dont want to carry on this arguement. To all my aircraft fanatic friends out there, All those involved were heroic and deserve our respect. Whether it be men or aircraft.

Basically no, Super Entendard a more devastating aircraft especial when loaded with a AM39
We put our T42 DESTROYER against this aircraft, they don%u2019t get to close, you only know their there
Sea Harrier good for short engagement and yes saved our bacon
Hats off to ARGENTINE AIRFORCE, they didn%u2019t have the best plans but plenty of guts, anyone going against that on a daily basis must be brave

Hey guys we in Uk are patriotic too. This was a time in history and lets be honest we are all more interested in the hardware.................Meaning the fantastic aircraft surely. So all I say is lets put the past behind us and marvel at two aircraft........Super Entendard and Sea Harrier....Oh and bye the way the Sea Harrier just wooped the aformentions ass did'nt it.???!!! What other aircraft can sit right their and shoot its missile right up the tail pipe of the other aircraft!! Seperate to the fact the Super Entendard requires a bigger turning circle and can't 'jam on the breaks' Love to you all whether you be Argentinian or English, or any other nationality for that matter!!

Xider, The British fleet that was involve in the Falklands was constitute by the 50% of the naval resourses of England, so don't said that we just enfaced a little part of the milltary power of UK because that is not tre at all. England lies about their losses because is really shameful that our contry just a "Sudamerican country" we could make a very strong resistence to a big power without any help and very limited resourses comparing with UK?. Not comment about the political and social crisis that our conuntry was passing in that time. (by the way I hope that all the chileans die swallow by the sea, I pray everyday for that.) Very good video.

I do not agree in several things. There is not such a thing as a "fair war". An this Malvinas/Falklands war was one of the kind. The british received a lot of help from the US and Chile and they were absolutely superior in technology and training. And besides they fought 5000 conscripts. This was a very unequal war. And this is recognized even by the most serious british military historians.

i admire what the Argentine pilots did, for anyone who knows the falklands because of Argentina loosing the war - your wrong - england nearly lost the war because the Argentine air force was so large so many devastating air attacks , they both struck fear in the english and where admired by the brittish, england never recongnized everything that they lost - for example england said they had never lost a plane in ariel combat, that wasn't true an Argentine air force Mirage shot down a harrier with its cannons and then england made the excuse of "it was mechanical failures", they also never recognized the fact that the HMS Invincible was hit by an exocet missile, bombs, and cannon fire, and then the SAS tried to destroy and Argentine base that had super etendards and exocet missiles then to kill the Argentine pilots they tried 3 times and all where failures - there is much more that the english did not adimit in the war about harirers being shot down by ground fire and much more

Great vid - though had to carry out research on this actual conflict being only 6 at the time. The Argentines did extremely well considering what they were up against and they were certainly brave to even consider attacking a modern fleet in A4B's and C's!

I see people commenting on this using some of their stupid political criteria. It definately looks you have never been in the army.
It's all about duty and honor.
Great tribute to those who fought in this war.
It was honorable and clean war, not what we see nowadays.
I salute to all of Falklands/Malvinas War.

We must not confuse things. By one side it's obvious that Britain had a better training and equipment, and that their men fought very well, proving why they are one of worlds best armed forces. But we must also agree that they received a large support from Chile and most significantly from the USA, incluiding inteligence, facilities and leading edge weapons wich proved to be very important in the balance of the war. Argentinians don't look for excuses when they talk about this suport, they know very well that the war was badly planified and the training and the equipment wasn't the needed for a war like this. A the creator of this video I have to say that this video it's not only in honor of the Argentine Airmen (which rpoved to be one of the most braves and profesionals of the world), it's to honor all of whom fought bravely during those cold days of April-June 1982, both British and Argentinians.

To the previous comments.. how could the British government hide loses to the British public? It is simply not true. Let face it, the Argentinians were up against the most highly trained professional army in the world, outcome.. you were defeated totally, also remember you faced a tiny fraction of UK military power very close to your own shore, whereas the British had to sail half way round the world. Think about that before you start making excuses.
