It doesnt matter if it was windshear/heavy winds or not. I highly doubt he 'had' to land the plane on that landing. If he was a halfway decent pilot, he would have reconized that a safe landing could not be made aborted the landing. He made a bad and dangerous choice by staying with it.

Any landing after which you can abandon the aircrafts on your own legs is a PERFECT landing.
