VLC IS the standard universal player, meaning, its the media files player that plays literaly everything unless the file is corrupted. Not something MS Windows Media Player can claim to do. Its very lightweight and it doesnt even need realy to be installed if one prefers so. When it comes to video files it's a codec hell out there and MS Windows media player being able to play only 50-60% of them isnt the tool to survive it.

Plays in 'Vlc Player'? What the heck is that? Ever heard of Windows Media Player? I'm not going to install a seperate program to get this video to play. Microsoft is the defacto standard, like it or not, people.
