C-17 Globemaster III doing a shortfield landing at Oshkosh 2007. If you watch the inboard engine on the right side you can see a funnel appearing when it's reversing. The day after i filmed this they flew a demo again and blew a compressor or something.

They are actually $200,000,000 a piece give or take for inflation. Only need 3000ft to safely stop(and thats at max landing weight).

I saw a C-17 parked at my home airport, but it's like 9800ft long, so no problems slowing down. But I was all like, hey, that's a C-17 those things cost 500 mil. US$, and everybody went like: 'so what?'. :P
