Morane RALLYE was a famous family of light aircraft in France in the 60s/70s.
The family includes aircrafts from 100 HP up to 235 HP.
The 100 HP was the cheap basic trainer aircraft for airclubs.
The 180hp and 235hp were used for air working.
It s quite an ugly aircraft, but easy to fly , with low approach speed.
The good stuff with this aircraft is that you can fly with canopy fully open !
Yes , throttles are nearly on idle position . I've just tried to maintain 16 inches to have a good engine temperature and avoid temperature constraints. Full iddle descent after a full power climb would damage the engine.
Now this is my kinda pilot!!!!
That's what I'd say!
I get to sky behind of that kind of rallye.
Here is this old " RALLYE" http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?regsearch=F-GAYJ&distinct_entry=true
