Interesting, i did'nt think Iran could keep those birds flying without replacement parts from the US. Didn't they have the A version of the Tomcats? Like, the really old one with outdated avaonics and stuff? I wonder what they did to upgrade, and they've gotta replaced those engines by now. That "anti-radar" technology doesn't sound entirely believable, but it's hard to judge until some combat performance is know.

Looks like the Iranian Tomcats are using the SAM Hawk missile as an Air to Air missile!!!

Seriousely, they hung some Hawk missiles underneath the F-14, now they have a HawkCat, clever concept.

so IRIAFs F-14s phoenix could hit american F-22 before it even new there were a tomcat against it....

yeah we sold them to the shah a long time ago back in the early 70s

pretty ironic that they're still flying it and the ones from the US are " mulched into scrap "

i dont want to get into an argument or anything but i believe the tomcats were sold to Iran when the Shah was in power and Iran was an ally of the United States

funny, you punish europe for some oil-deals with the iran and imposed sanctions to us because we selled them steyr guns some years ago - and they are flying your tomcats... strange, man!
