"the next war Israel loses, is its last" Risk is their life and they mitigate it everyday by showing they are 2nd to none in the region... they don't have the luxuary of flying back to a base thousands of miles away from any threat. It takes 15 minutes in full A.B. to go from one end of Israel to the other...

Well, the israels ARE a NUCLEAR nation since years... and they're in war since years, so for me they are more critical than the iran! (i'm european)
...and the answer:" risk is part of my job" is completely wrong!! in any kind (i'm an civil airline pilot but doing also flights for the army as a reserve), this answer is more a part of top gun than a pilots real comment!! when you are taking risks, you did something wrong!
