Mig 29 formation practice display 1993
Does anyone recognise these 2 aircraft...? This is some footage of the practice display of the 2 Russian Mig 29's on the Thursday before the Air Tattoo in 1993. Their routine went well. It was only 2 days later that they would collide during their display at the airshow. And I take it everyone has seen the video of them colliding? (This footage was taken from a VHS tape)

Nice training. They were lucky to be alive. The French duo group flying those mirages were unfortunately not so lucky.
