As far as I know they are built in St.Louis Mo, but I could be wrong.. I do know that there are 24 on order from Boeing. They are to ''fill the gap'' until the F35A's arrive to retire the F-111 aka the ''Pig'' the old faithful workhorse, so cant wait until we have a mix of super hornets an F35's in the air..
