The Jet struck several blows to the camp before peacekeepers finally shot it down.

I heard about 2 georgian SU-25 have been lost , at least one on August 11th when georgians stroke back russians forces on ground at Tskhinvali .

I have recently read an article about this conflict ( DSI technoligies N°=14 November/December issue).
At least a TU-22M3 and 3 SU-25 are reported shot down on August 8th.
Other sources claim others rssian aircrafts to be shoot down.
Maybe a SU-24MR FENCER on Aug 8th, a SU-25 Frogfoot on Aug 9th , a SU-24M FENCER on Aug 10th or 11th and an MIL MI 24 (unknow date) .

Gorgians used russian SAMs.
1 or 2 SA-11 ( BUK-M1 )
8 or more SA-8B OSA-K
6 or 10 OSA-AKM.
Gorgians lost their Air Defence systems destroyed by group russians troops, and not by russian AF.
