not sure about engine spare parts, but it is widly known that iran was able to buy spare parts in 2000 - 2005 to enable a few dosen of their remaining f14 in flying condition.
the usa only recently enforce a real ban on spart parts
the footage look at least 15 years old ;-)
magnificent aircraft anyway

lets not start about politic in this region, iran today is only the result of 30 years of western stupidity in the region, everybody is to blame (US EU soviet russia etc etc)
