This video is divided into 2 parts: the first one is the low-altitude pilot's G-Loc with the WSO actually regaining the control of the airplane a fraction of second before ground impact; and the second is a Mirage 2000B Demo whose pilot doesn't have sufficient height to close the looping.

Do the people that watch this and comment actually watch the video, this is clearly two different clips sliced together, the first clip there is no airstrip in view only farmland and after recovering the pilot sustained level flight at low alt, the second clip shows almost the same manuever but with an airstrip, tail strike, and no sustained level flight to climb as in the first clip, this is two different clips but then again I actually watched the video unlike some

My dad was former RAAF fighter pilot he has flew on Mirage III his experience is when you turn over 80 degree or more as where your body can felt forced from the speed as your blood flow can be blocked to oxgen and the pilot can easy get black out which is over G-Force 7-10 that can cause black out this is why every pilot are to be trained and plus medical check up every a month or 3 months on depends to ensure the pilot are fit and well in to G-Force 7-10 etc. I really miss these Mirage III and it beautiful sound when the mirage fly over the sky which that i never forget.

Now when you hear the pilot try catch his breath after his short black out this is what happen.

Here's an accurate translation of this scary situation.
WSO's tone is really scared while the pilot is simply confused which seems to scare the WSO even more.

P: here we go...[plane begins it's turn then suddenly begins to fall]

WSO: Mad [pilot's nickname] ? Are you OK Mad ? Mad?! Mad?!

P: Yes yes [sounding very confused]

WSO: Ah, we are diving...

P: yes yes

WSO : Pull-up...Pull Up...Pull Up! Pull Up! ..."Ressource!!!"

P: yes yes! [less confused]

WSO: [...GRUNTING... as the plane is near the ground and begins to ressource]

P: it's ok

WSO: "Oh Putain !" (d*** it! or f***!)

P: it's ok...everything's fine...[now speaking normally]

WSO: it's ok ? it's fine ?

P: well done... Oh Putain...

oh my gosh, this is why the fighter pilot lives between the death and the life. Amazing who filmed it, cause i think if i saw it, i would look with my eyes and not with a camera! This Mirages are great build: they touch the ground and keep flying for some secs!!! That Su-27UB when did the same, flew to the ground! =P

The first part of this video is already hosted on Patricks Aviation as "Mirage 2000D - Close Call" at http://www.patricksaviation.com/videos/Guest/180/
The crash in the second part occurred on 12th Feb 2002 during a training session for a solo display. Both crew ejected safely. Do you have a link for this second video?

I have a video of that Su-27 crash in 1990 in Italy, it's where the pilot realizes his mistake a second too late, and hits the ground at a devastating Aoa, he didn't try to eject, but even if he did, no seat could have saved him, not even the К-36. And I have another video of a mig-29C doing some manoeuvre (hard level turn, A0A way over limit), and crashing in a forrest, again, the pilot didn't eject, although he had 'plenty' of time (3 seconds). :(

There're several similar accidents in the airshow history...the Thunderbirds Crash at Mountain Home, the SU-30 at Le Bourget, the St. Louis F/A-18 Crash...

I witnessed a not-well-known accident at Salgareda Air Show, a small airfield in NE of Italy, 09/09/1990 when a Su-27 Flanker started the looping at a very low altitude and crashed...I was there, 13 years-old..I'll never forget that day!!! :-(
