MiG-29 Crash - Le Bourget 1989
This is the famous MiG-29 Crash at Le Bourget, 09/06/0989. The pilot ejected safely at a very low altitude after the right engine failed due to birds ingestion during a low-speed pass.
No sound but great quality.

If the pilot survived in this crash then he will have been badly injured. But still he make a very accurate and quick decision at the right moment.
He wasn't injured very much, because the gras allowed him a soft landing and the parachute has been open enough to slow him down. The Pilot ejected in 30m !

did the pilot make it?
Yes, the pilot ejected at a very low altitude, luckily the K-36DM ejection seat (which gained a lot of popularity after this crash) worked perfectly and the parachute inflated just enough to allow the pilot a not-too-hard landing.
If you check the video you'll see that the pilot hits the ground rather close to the aircraft and also the ejection seat didn't miss him by much!!
It's not seen here, but I've read in magazines that the pilot tried until the end to detour the plane from the crowd. lol I think it implicates having quite a 'thick skin'.
