Canadian Air Force Capabilities
From coast to coast, the air force is at work every day here at home, through our 13 Wings (bases) stationed across the country. Whether it's defending Canadian airspace, flying search and rescue missions that save lives, intercepting Aircraft or ships carrying illegal drugs or providing relief during national disasters like floods or ice storms, we play a direct role in keeping Canada and Canadians safe.

any country allied with the united states have enemy...its my opinion, but the Canadian play a important place in the Norad, the Base of bagotville is on full alert 24 hours a day 365 days,,,with 4 hornet fully arm and ready to scramble anytime....
Hmm, I don't think so. We are usually only deployed to peacekeeping operations (even though they might act as if we are the enemy), and other related roles. We actually just sent one of our brand new CC-177's to Jamaica to drop supplies for the hurricane efforts.
