Full Harrier

selection of footage of the RAFs Harrier, showing it from its early days as the Kestrel through to GR1, GR3, GR5, GR7 and T10 (the two seat trainer seen departing fairford towards the end of the video) The RAFs Harrier force has now been upgraded to the GR9 which essentially from the outside looks no different to the GR7 however more advanced avionics and a more powerful pegasus engine make the aircraft a formidable weapon.

Having served at RAF wittering on 20sqn during my RAF career and being lucky enough to have had a back seat ride in a T10 i can say that it was the most amazing experience of my life and one that i will never forget, the harrier is an amazing aircraft and im glad us brits designed it (with only a small amount of help from the yanks on the GR5 GR7 GR9)
