RF-111C Belly Landing
On 18/07/06 an RAAF RF-111C lost a main landing gear wheel on take off at RAAF Base Amberley. The jet circled for 3 hours dumping fuel while experienced F-111 pilots tested scenarios on a simulator and a cable was laid across the runway. The landing was made successfully with the jet sustaining only superficial damage. The pilot had completed the F-111 conversion course only 2 weeks earlier.

I thought this footage was better and longer. If it was inappropriate to keep both, then perhaps the better video could be retained with credit/points staying with popejoshpope.
