Vampires & Venoms
A short doco showing the de Havilland Vampires & Venoms of the Source Classic Jet Flight based at Bournemouth Intl Airport, UK. The de Havilland DH.100 Vampire variants served in the RAF from 1945 to 1955. It started as a fighter but later versions were modified for a ground-attack fighter/bomber role. The de Havilland DH.112 Venom was a newer design similar to the Vampire but with about twice the power. It was in RAF first-line service from 1952 until 1962.
