Red Flag
Last Two days of the 2006 Red Flag Exercise at Nellis AFB. The number of aircraft you will see here are:
1 E8 Jstar,1 Thunderbird T38 Talon,1 Nimrod R.Mk1,8 F117's,3 KC-10's,13 F-15's,3 KC-135's
2 F-111's,14 F-16's,6 F-18's and,3 GR-7 Tornados
3 B2's did take off but we didnt get it on tape nor get there on time. Red Flag Mission 01/21/2006 -02/18/2006.

sure it was there for red flag but what role did it have?

So lucky to have a good spot near Nellis AFB!!!.
I just wonder what a Nimrod from RAF were doing over there. I supose that the Nimbrod its an aircraft for Naval and Antisubmarine warfare. So why was there in the midle of the desert?
