tomcat, STEALTH is not the same word as "invisible"... STEALTH means that the radar will get some trouble to find an Raptor, but this is going to the other side now with the new radars 3D from China and Russia. And don't forget, if the F-22A fire something, they will show its body to all enemyes...

look..... The classifications of the raptor do not need to be known by the public. It can out manuever any russian jet, BUT the pilot skills are also an importanat part of air to air combat. But if you stop and think about what you should already know, ITS A STEALTH FIGHTER! which means it can't be detected on radar. so who really cares about close air to air combat, the raptor will shoot down any advosary before they know whats going on.

"even the 'state of the art' F-22 can't come close to emulating the agility of the Su-27 or even the MiG-29"

Actually, it can. I've seen videos of the Raptor doing a tailside&whipstall and even a Cobra, but that's about it. If the F-22 has ever done a Kulbit or anything like it the video isn't publicly available.

To be fair, the F-22 has yet to perform an actual demo - neither you nor I have any idea what it is capable of.

Boring and unimpressive - even the 'state of the art' F-22 can't come close to emulating the agility of the Su-27 or even the MiG-29

I really liked this video. Lot's of good flying and afterburner noise! Love the way the afterburners really glow in the low-light.
