I highly recommend, if you're into F-14's, you go on e-bay and get yourself a copy of this series, it is a collector's item. Do a search under "fighter fling DVD", it's about $35. The 2004 video, in particular, is VERY well done and has a lot of hidden meaning to it. It's not just a simple MTV rock video, every song means something if you listen to the words. The theme is of hating the Hornets, wondering why the F-14 is being retired and jabbing at people who made those decisions. As a former squadron member (VF-32) in the early 80's and a resident of Long Island where the Tomcat was built, it's hard to watch these and not get teary eyed. The plane truely is the last great fighter this country will ever produce and, as the video says, it is the end of an era as the Navy will never again have another fighter squadron.

i have downloaded this movie some months ago and was bigger. i downloaded it now, again, and is smaller, the footages before, of, and after anti-hornet footage doesn't appear.
were can i find the bigger?

If you are talking about the part where the F-14 is flying over the beach, it does look like a game, but it is just the camera that they are using.

This is definetly the best of the F-14 fighter flings! I got the origional one, and I see no copyright on the box or in the whole video, just a whole bunch of anti Hornet stuff, so it should be okay to post on the website. Wish the F-14 could stay in service forever..........

The whole Fighter Fling collection is great! They've been making this videos at least since 1989! And yes, this is just a part of the 2004 video. The thing is, of course, I did not produce these videos so I don't know if I should upload them :-( ... Tomcats forever!

I've got the original on my PSP, I also made a DVD of it somewhere. How can I get it onto the site? It'd be a shame if people couldn't see it all, some of the best stuff is at the end. The 'Right Now' part is powerful.

Maybe the Superbug Community will start making 'Strike-Fighter Fling' vids. They took over the 'Mutha' trophy, hopefully they'll pick this tradition up too!
