Sea Knight Crash

As a CH-46 Sea Knight Transport Helicopter was approaching the USNS Pecos to fast rope Marines in for a boarding excercise, the helicopter fouled a lifeline with its port landing gear and pitched upside down and into the pacific ocean off Point Loma, CA. 11 Marines were picked up by the SEAL's trailing them in small boats, but 7 others died.
