These are Saab Draken fighters (J35 OE) which are modified versions of the J-35D that Saab/Sweden sold to Austria in the 80:ies when the type (J35D) was retired in Sweden. J stands for fighter (Jakt). The disignation JAS stands for Fighter/Attack/Recon (Jakt/attack/Spaning) and it is only the JAS39 Gripen that can do all these roles in one model. The Viggen with the name Saab 37 may look a bit similar but has a canard wing like the modern Gripen (Saab 39).
