A wing can produce plenty of lift in a 90 degree bank. It just won't lift the aircraft UP. :)

Gravity had all to do with it. The wing is constantly battling gravity, but at 90* AoB, the plane just plain stops fighting it and BOOM. There was probably something else though that prevented the pilot from saving the plane with the ailerons, AoA maybe.

yeah i now,its aeronotique law..but a this alititude,nothing to regain control,a report a lauch to the public,they show a aerodynamic problem,beacause the long fuselage or something like that,and a restricted banks of angle.....if i pass this limit,they need about 6000 or 9000 feet to recover the aircraft.....i try to find this report to put on the site....
