My buddies and I used to hyperventilate our selves, and have someone come behind us and pass us out with a sleeper hold. Feels the exact same. It's actually pretty fun, if you can get over being choked. heh.
is it soffa they are sitting in?
It's a kind of adjustable seat that resembles the ones found at most fighters. Kind of rough I would say.
Can this be reposted without the music ? I'd rather hear what is being said between student and the control room.
Nop, sorry. But I have other videos with the dialoge between the control room and the student. Should I post them right here or somewhere else in the site?
About the music...i guess i won't use it anymore..... :) Sorry about that
Well, there isn't really a correct way, it's only whatever your taught. I know the aerobatic pilots at my flight school sure don't strain or breath the same way air force pilots do. Just depends how you were taught, or learned for that matter.
Yes, there is a correct way, but it depends on the type of G's you're pulling. Most competition acro may be a ton of G's ( 12,-12) but only for a second or less. For that, the body's vasoconstrictive reflexes are sufficient as long as the G's don't last (which they simple can't even in the best acro planes unless they trade thousands of feet of energy). Also, about 1/2 the competition G's are negative anyway so the AGSM would just blow your eyes out. An F-16 can sustain 9 Gs so the body has to be trained to sustain that which requires a good AGSM (anti-G straining maneuver).
i would love to do that
Can someone please explain to me what is actually happening to that lady at the end?? She was really f***ed up.... Thought she was having a seizure or something.....
She was just recovering from the effects of the G-loc. The reactions are very particular to every person. Some get consious almost inmediately after the "G"s has been gone, but for others take longer time to get on their feet. And for a little percentage the effects are so persistent that you can be several seconds to get consious of what you are doing. It`s all about how fast the blood comes back to your head.
do you know how many Gs they were pulling
Sorry for the quality, on most scenes the "G" meter is at the high left corner, but it`s difficult to see it. Almost all are pulling at 9 "G"s and some about 7 or so.
I've seen my lil' brothers c'fuge ride...compared to him these people don't seem like they were even taught how to strain and breath correctly...if at all.
