if i was that close the a helo with no tail rotor ..this vid wouldn't have been made hehe. that scene could have ended in loss of life..easy.
Looks like the pilot might have been abit cocky or maybe a prob but coming in fast and gung-ho will result in a bad landing one way or the other :)
After crash he does nicely shutting it down :)
Cameraman was ok in my book.
But some guys are not happy unless the camera guy jumps in front of the bullet i guess ;)

Now that's funny stuff..both the shambolic piloting skills and the lame camera work..full marks to both parties...a new standard of lame has been set.

When something wild and unexpected happens, it's a person's natural reaction to pop their head up while simultaneously dropping the camera down to see over it. In the heat of the moment, they forget they're filming and want a better view of the action. The result is what you see here: the camera being pointed at the ground. It's a natural reaction and could happen to anybody, it's just a disappointment for people watching the vid later. It's frustrating to see the ground just when things get interesting.

Everybody is talking about the cameramen who turned the camera away during the moment of impact, First: thanks to this person we see this video,so thanks!!!! :-) Second, i think the reason he turned the camera away is the ROTORBLAST of this helo while it crashes :-( So i think this person who shot this video is a good filmer :-) Thanks again, greetings Matthias

Nice camera work! The grass there looks just like the grass at my house, so now I don't have to go video it...

Sign of a lame cameraman: point the camera at the ground when something notable happens. So instead of getting good usable video that might be important in an accident investigation, you get a good view of the grass.

I couldn't help but notice that it sure took the aircrew a long time to shutdown. I wonder what they were thinking while sitting on the ground running at full power. Maybe the aircrew was dazed or injured.
