This is the infamous crash video shown at Red Flag, well at least it used to be, maybe it still is. Not all the crashes are from Red Flag. Still a good video...many consider classic.

The C-130 crash was fatal for the entire crew. I think it was at Ft Bragg, in the late 80s I believe. The Sheridan has been released out the back, but the AC went into some trees and disintegrated. The rest of the video shows that.

Lot of crashes that aren't necessarily fatal, meaning that you just see a plane spinning out of control into the ground, in which case you can assume the pilot's ejected already. Some nice clips in between. Freakishly near miss near the end of the movie with the treetop canyon pass HUD clip.

Still, you can't see much on videos like these, and reading AFM or Combat Aircraft's writeoffs is about as offensive as this. Not like it's one of those retarded Faces of Death things, those I hate too.

I don't personally think people make these videos for viewing pleasure. I find that it acknowledges the brave, heroic pilots who risk their life everyday doing what they do and allows you to spare a thought on the sacrifices people make. Just my opinion.

I've always thought that these crash videos are very disrespectful to the guys who died. If my dad got hurt or died in a car crash, I wouldn't want millions of people on You-Tube and elsewhere watching it for pleasure.
