Hello,I\'m an avid WW2 military aviation history buff, I especially enjoy doing research on emblem designs of that era,thier colors-details,variations and origins! I also try to track down the \"Unofficial\" or \"Unauthorised versions that were not \"approved \" for use but were worn/used anyway;I have been able to find many of them on the web sites and books or by talking with veterans of ww2 or writing them it is a fascinating hobby!!! I go to many local air shows and visit museums,have been to the USAF museum in Ohio and the 8th AAF museum in Georgia and both were VERY great places to see!!! I have had the opportunity to go up in a Navion with a 5 kill ww2 ace and fly around with him during a air show which is one memory I will always Cherish!!!! I enjoy talking with anyone about military aviation of the WW2 era but all other eras also!!! I can do ID work for patches of WW2 from the USA if anyone has some they do not know what they are please contact me and I\'ll try to ID it for you,no charge as I enjoy doing this too!!! |
