Frecce Tricolori - Solo Lomcovac
The fantastic Frecce Tricolori Solo Lomcovac figure.
There's no need for words...the only jet airplane capable of doing this!!!
Difficult point for the pilot: he must choose the right moment to apply forward stick and rudder.
Definitely one of the favourite moments of the PAN display.

Tiltrotor Technology the V-22 Osprey
An Awesome video from the Boomin Tiltrotor Technology the V-22 Osprey. The V-22 Osprey is an American joint service, multi-mission, military tiltrotor aircraft with both a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) and short takeoff and landing (STOL) capability. It is designed to perform missions like a conventional helicopter with the long-range, high-speed cruise performance of a turboprop aircraft. The V-22 was developed by Bell Helicopter Textron, which manufactures it in partnership with Boeing Helicopters. The initial operators are the United States Marine Corps, US Air Force and the US Special Forces. The FAA classifies the Osprey as a model of powered lift aircraft. The Osprey has provided support in Iraq, racking up some 2000 flight hours over three months with a mission capable availability rate of 68.1% as of late January 2008. They are primarily used in Iraq's western Anbar province for routine cargo and troop movements, and also for riskier "aero-scout" missions. Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. military commander in Iraq, used one to fly around Iraq on Christmas Day, 2007, to visit troops. The only major problem has been obtaining the necessary spare parts to maintain the aircraft.

US NAVY JET FIGHTERS & THE VX-9 SQUADRON
An excellent video from the US Navy jet figters. Some of them are the F-14 Tomcat, F/A-18 Hornet and some EA-6 Prowler. Almost we can see Air Carrier operations and some cockpit footage. Images from the Air Test and Evaluation Squadron NINE (VX-9). In the year 2000 the VX-9 Squadron had 67 officers, 350 enlisted personnel and 28 aircraft including the FA-18E/F Super Hornet, FA-18 Hornet, F-14 Tomcat, EA-6B Prowler, AV-8B Harrier, and AH-1 Cobra. Typically, aircrews are qualified in more than one of these aircraft types, increasing their versatility and providing broader based expertise to be applied to each project. VX-9's mission has grown to include the operational evaluation of attack, fighter, and electronic warfare aircraft, weapons systems and equipment, and to develop tactical procedures for their employment.
