Search and rescue operation over the Indian Ocean near Madagascar. 28Squadron Hercules C-130B was dispatched from Pretoria, South Africa to help search for the crew of a vessel that sent out a distress signal. We never found the vessel.

Oryx helicopter from 15Squadron, Air Force Base Durban, South Africa. These guys were doing training with the Mountain Rescue Club when I noticed the rockface close to the pickup point. I just waited for the tjopper to pass the "face".

Helicopters "Close Formo"
Rooivalk, Agusta LUH-109 and an Oryx helicopter do a flyby at the annual Air Capability Demonstration at Roodewal Bombing Range near Polokwane, South Africa. The 300mm lens distorts real distance between the tjoppers to the viewer of the photograph, but they are flying a safe distance from each other.
