Dassault Mirage 4000 backside ( prototype )

In September 1976 Dassault Company launched the study of a mach 2 capable 20 ton plus twin jet aircraft. Called Super Mirage 4000, it performed its maiden flight in 1979 and stood then in the air superiority twin jet category.Despite innovating characteristics , it was not selected to equip the French Air Force . The prototype on the photo here is the only one that was built.
