Cavanaugh Flight Museum, Dallas, TExas. This Messer was built in Germany, but was sold to Spain, where it's Daimler Benz DB-605 engine was replaced by a Rolls Royce Merlin! Merlin was used in Supermarine Spitfire and in P-51 Mustang as well. The Messer is painted in the personal colors of General Adolf Galland, one of the famoust fighter pilots of the Luftwaffe
