Mig-21 MF Lancer-C
Ground crew is working on a romanian Lancer. The aircraft belongs to the 712 Squadron of the Romanian Air Force. The Lancer is an upgraded version of the old Mig-21 MF. 6196 is a Lancer-C subversion, wich is a dedicated air-to-air variant. I like the old Fishbed as well. It's very sad, that this only exemplar represented the type on the Kecskemét airshow. 2 decades ago Kecskemét was a Mig-21 base, with 3 squadrons of Mig-21's. In 2000 the Hungarian Air Force reired all of the remaining Mig-21's.
