Li-2, HA-LIX

This is the one of the 2 remaining LI-2s, capable to fly. The Li-2 is the russian version of DC-3 (C-47, as the military vesrion is known). This exemplar has the code HA-LIX, it was used by the Hungarian Peoples Army and by the HUngarian Airlines from 1949 until 1974. The "Goldtimer Foundation" renewed the aircraft at the end of the '90s.
