Air Force One

Very nice actually. I like quick action shots like this, as I've done my share of them. Turned out rather well with the clouds actually. I waited for several hrs once at that cemetary off the end of the Dobbins Runway back in the 80s waiting on Pres Reagan to take off, but had to give up and go home, dunno when he left in the old 707 AF1.

Red...as I stated...the President was onboard. They normally only practice approaches over at Newport News, not Langley.

Cool that you got a picture of it regardless of what others think of it. Atleast your not posting other peoples images under your name. Great Job, I lived in Newport News for a few years directly under the approach for Langley. James River area.

Could be just shooting approaches. When I was stationed at Langley we would have a lot of VIP type jets flying around Langley and Newport News on training flights since it's so close to Andrews.

Recidivist, like I said...I'd be happy to sell you the hi-res picture if you'd like, just PM me and we'll discuss it. I'm not wrong about anything as piracy runs rampant across the net. Its just a way to protect my work, nothing personal to anyone here. As to the discussion comment...I'm open to discussion, but there is no need to simply post 'poor photo' just because you feel like being an @ss. I'm not worried about it, I'm dealing with Turkwing through other channels. I don't mind your low res post and I answered it. Again, if you'd like to purchase my hi-res photo's thats fine...you'll get the RAW files and complete ownership of the selected or requested photo's. Take care, Check

The aircraft pictured is Air Force One. I listed it that way because the President was onboard. Had he not been, I would have listed it as a SAMXXXXX flight.
