Well you don't really acquire a "lock" with a gun, the bullets have no guidance and the laser ranging site requires nothing more than being able to "visually see" the target. It would be more shocking if this was a missile lock, that way you can gripe about the failure of stealth and the sophisticated counter measures systems. No a gun shot is skill and luck, you just have your bullets in the way of the other person. At 179 knots the Hornet is at a really low energy state, he isn't pulling that hard a maneuver to get this shot so somethings definently up, unless the Raptor pilot is a complete douche. This is Raptor pilot error or Hornet pilot cheating, which is pilot error. So it's all pilot error.

Yeah, but the funny thing is people like Turkwing still comment on it like they don't know what actually took place...I think you should remove the photo.

I don't know the story but if I remember right the hornet violated the rules during that shot. Checksixxx explained it many times, ask him if you wanna know the details or look at the previous post of this pic.

I´ve already seen this, if Hornet can do it what to say about Flanker??
