Also, a pilot would not wear this...this is a crew member who looks to be female....
he's absoulotely right.i made a detailed search(had to look 37 pages) and that's true not the pilots but the crew men wear this.To protect from dust and others.Thanx checcksixx;)
For the HGU-56/P, an upgrade kit contains the face shield, helmet side hardware, shield side hardware and instructions for installation.
The MFS weighs less than five ounces, and offers an interface between shield and visor that reduces wind on the face. The shield offers ballistic fragmentation protection up to 550 feet per second (fps).
The MFS HGU-56/P version comes standard with dual side release latches that provide for positive lock and ambidextrous quick release of the shield. The MFS HGU-84/P version is attached to the helmet with adjustable straps and snaps.
The MFS is available in a subdued matte black finish that can be easily custom painted, and is compatible with Mike Lites%u2122. Further, a standard wire boom microphone or flexible boom microphone can be positioned behind the MFS, further enhancing communications clarity.
Probably a gas mask, since a normal one would prevent him from doing his job. The sticker isn't an angel, it's Tinkerbelle, from the childrens movie called Peter Pan. It's probably just a joke.
i believe that Tinkerbelle means that he's at the SAR squadron
Looking good, which coutry is this? And why do he need a helmet and mask like that?
It's USAF but i also don't know why that kind of Helmets , may be for the dust in desert?
Looks like star Wars xD
