Hornet catapult launch
An F-18 hornet being launched from an US Navy carrier. You can also see people on the ship's bow watching the plane rising. These deck personnel are wearing red suits. Normally this colour means these people fire fighters. In Brazilian Navy they are responsible for refuelling the aircrafts too. The red suits personnel are divided into two groups, for both jobs.

Thanks for the informations checksixx and tomcat101. I know the super hornet is different from the regular F-18 but I don't know how to recognize them.
From this angle you could look at the strakes which are much larger on the super hornet. And well, maybe it's just a little too difficult from this angle, but the super hornet would have a saw-tooth on the leading edge of the wing.
In Brazilian Navy we don't use the purple suits.
