Malakas is right, its an outstanding record. Even the F-22A program has lost one aircraft already...

A fleet of 21 planes with 75,000 f.hours with only an accident !!!

Well lets see. First, its just over 1 Billion dollars to be exact, per airframe. Second, the accident was caused by an uncommanded pitch up on take-off. Ejection seats are there because life is much more important than that machine. Some people just don't get that though. But, yes, they will fly again.

Not to dimish the fact that no lives were lost, you have to wonder why there are even ejection seats on the B-2......I mean who wants to be remembered as the crew that sharded 2 billion dollars on the lawn! Do you really think USAF will let them fly another 2 billion dollar plane or any plane for that matter? Can you imagine their resumes, "Hmm.....It seems here you punted 2 billion dollars in a freak accident last year.....What makes you think your qualified to run a cash register here at Whataburger?!!"
