Lefty Gardners P-38, Harlingen 89

Lefty's P-38L with F nacelles at this great airshow. He was a B17 pilot in the war who flew and raced this plane for many decades before he sold it to Red Bull after it was heavily damaged while his son was ferrying it in a crash landing. It's now natural metal finish and recently returned to flying status.
