Rooivalk & Oryx

These helicopters participated in a Force Preparation Excercise at Roodewal range near Polokwane in South Africa. The Oryx helicopter transported troops while the Rooivalk attack helicopter provided top cover. The Rooivalk helicopters belong to 16 Squadron stationed in Bloemfontein and the Oryx helicopter in the photo is stationed in Machado and serves at 19 Squadron.
