Belly Landing  cr@USAF

USAF F-16C block 25 #83-1161 from the 61st FS made a belly landing at Luke AFB on June 17th, 2004 in which only the fuel tank, the right ventral fin and the captive AIM-9 were damaged.

the fuel tank was empty burned out and 9m missile was just light damaged so he had major luck :D and the first and second pylons cant be droped and i dont know why he doesnt droped the centerline tank , maybe he doesnt wanted to give his jet more damage as possible , just my opinion

How did this happened ?Can you give us more details ?
It seems to me very difficult to land this plane with gear up and remains in that position and armed....
